Griffis/Blessing recently hosted their 18th annual Kick Off Awards Luncheon to celebrate employee and company achievements of the last year, recognize award winners and to begin 2015 with a bang. The annual awards include the Rose Award (Employee of the Year), Midas Touch, Above and Beyond recipient, Commercial and Multifamily Departmental awards and the Star Performers. “This event is a great opportunity for us to recognize the hard work done by our employees in 2014 and set the stage for 2015,” says President and COO, BJ Hybl.

Regional Property Manager, Carmen Azzopardi, CPM® was the winner of this year’s Rose Award for demonstrating every trait of an exceptional role model and serving as a true example of all the Core Values – hard work, integrity, financial stewardship, innovation and creativity. The Rose Award is given to the employee who best exemplifies Griffis/Blessing’s Core Values during the prior year.

Jeremy Bixler, Service Manager at Belmar Villas, was this year’s Midas Touch winner. Nominees are employees who excel at raising income, lowering expenses or managing a difficult property or project well.

Ryan VanAcker, Service Manager at The Village at Lionstone, was awarded the Above and Beyond Award for his creative and innovative video on a day in the life of a Service Manager.
